Lockwood Design and Construction Co. Inc. is a family managed business serving the Delaware area. In 1975, Don H. Lockwood, started this company by commercially designing buildings. Just a year later, the corporation began constructing the buildings it designed. In 1989, Don A. Lockwood, a graduate of the University of Delaware, joined the company in a managerial position after many years of on the job training.
Don A. started at the grass roots level when he was eight years old by hauling lumber. After graduating from University of Delaware in 1989, Don joined the company full time and is now the President of Lockwood Design & Construction, and Don H. presides as CEO.
Throughout all of Sussex County and lower Kent County, Delaware, there are many individual homes, townhome communities, and multi-story condominiums, as well as restaurants, professional office building, shopping centers and even a water park, that attest to the quality building ethics of Lockwood Design & Construction.
